As an independent filmmaker- inspired by the works of Anthony Bourdain, I quit my day job and went to the Middle East to get a closer look at what’s actually happening within the Israel-Palestine conflict, from real humans. I funded the whole thing myself- and I was the full camera and editing crew.

I didn’t get the entire story within a single film, but I think this captures something that is wildly missing from the conversation right now- and that is seeing the individual humans. I wanted to get past all the politics and arguing and just get to the human stories—the hearts of those living within this conflict.

PS- I’m not Israeli or Palestinian. But I’ve met amazing people who are both and I’m genuinely curious about their lived experience—and what their hopes and dreams might be for the future.
