Heintschel is a solid QB. He also did not perform well in multiple games this year.

He had 13 TDs against their G6 and FCS opponents, and 1 TD in their three games against P4 opponents.

Holden Geriner threw as many TDs vs. P4 opponents in one half off the bench as Heintschel did in 2.5 games.

Not only can they not drop off stat-wise at QB, there’s actually room to improve.
