It is with deep sadness that we report the loss our friend, colleague and all-round pillar of local am-dram, Hugh Mellor. Whether onstage or in the audience, Hugh's love of theatre was inspiring, he was the kindest and most generous of men. He will be greatly missed.
It is with great sadness that we let you know of the passing away of Chris Hindley, a much-loved member of the Cambridge am dram scene. I had the pleasure of being directed by Chris a few years ago, and his enthusiasm and boundless optimism made a difficult show a joy to work on.
2. When I was a child in the 1940s, my mother would cut up slices of fruit for me (there wasn't much) and as she put it in front of me she would say, "An apple a day keeps the doctor away." How about, “A sonnet a day keeps the doctor away”? So...here we go: Sonnet 1.
And that's us closed to the public for the next few months. But the ghost light is on and the trusty @CUADC duck will guard the building.
Stay safe and see you when we re-open.
