Removing a 13 cent per litre tax from gasoline seems like a hell of a way to let fuel companies know they can go ahead and charge 13 cents more per litre. Also seems like a hell of a way to remove 13 cents per litre worth of potential government spending on things that matter
Kudos to @RachelBendayan for saying in the House that she has had “several conversations” with protestors and “it is important to have those conversations”. This situation could have been diffused if @JustinTrudeau had been prepared to do the same. #cdnpoli#EmergenciesAct
@AmazonHelp I think I understand. With the lack of simple filter option to select "only Amazon sellers" my most reliable option is to use the grocery delivery app from a local store just down the street. Thanks!
@AmazonHelp this is a crappy UX and you should feel bad. I can't use any filters to show me items with actual prices, actual ship times, from legitimate sellers. But you let me select "items out of stock"because that's useful.
@AmazonHelp So applying a filter like customer reviews and brand is going to narrow the search to exclude those results with no displayed price, not sold by Amazon? Like this?
@AmazonHelp Feedback. If I'm searching for a product I want to see what's available, what the price is, and when I'll get it. These results are absolutely useless to me.
It is a real failure of our education system that so many people have missed understanding freedom, communism, socialism and at least half a dozen other concepts I've seen on signs at protests in the last few weeks.
Alberta will launch a Court challenge of the Trudeau government’s invocation of the Emergencies Act, because it is:
- unnecessary
- disproportionate
- violates natural justice
- intrudes into provincial jurisdiction
- creates a dangerous precedent.

The Ottawa Occupiers complain about not being listened to
🙄
Dude, I’m a rural alberta NDP voter. I don’t even exist in the fed poli landscape & you don’t see me mounting a posse with the local yoga club to form an e car convoy to Ottawa demanding more trees & funded pharmacare
Residents of Southern Alberta would never have been subjected to the threat of horrific violence at the hands of heavily armed criminals if the UCP had brought in an injunction and taken this seriously on Day 1.
Instead, they sent their still-in-caucus area MLA to participate.
