We mourn the passing of CUFS alumnus Jose 'Chito' Gascon. He was a lifelong public servant. He served as chair of the Commission on Human Rights @chrgovph in the Philippines until his demise. Chito finished his Master of Law at Cambridge in 1997. May he rest in peace.

@JillDamatac will have her book "Dirty Kitchen" published in 2023! 📙 It explores the notions of identity, memory, and belongingness -- taking from her 22 years as an undocumented immigrant in the US. It's also just been signed for an adaptation into a TV series. Congrats! 🎉

Congrats to CUFS alumnus Dr. Mahar Lagmay @nababaha on the recent launch of the revamped Project NOAH website. It is the main disaster risk reduction and management programme in the Philippines. Mahar obtained his PhD in earth sciences at @Cambridge_Uni in 2000.
