4th grade is into their unit on Human Growth and Development. They have combined what they learned when choosing prizes they have earned in class. These gentlemen want to be like their fathers. Our young lady needs to check out a salon.

Today in Mrs. Walker's 4th grade class they used an old classic and some co-teaching to elicit scientific discourse and writing using CRE (Claim, Reasoning, Evidence.) These fantastic 4th graders are demonstrating some high level thinking at deep levels.

DEN hosted the District Spelling Bee yesterday. Students that placed 1st or 2nd on Monday in the DEN spelling bee competed again on Wednesday alongside winners from McGill Elementary. Congratulations to all the students that participated.
