Well, this term has been pretty hard! I tried to make it to all my lectures and submit all of my supervision essays... And I did! But it's left me pretty exhausted. Submitted my last essay of term today, so finally time to refocus on my dissertation. #cambtweet - J 💞

It's been the maddest week. With the Footlights Spring Revue in full swing and 2nd team Varsity in Sunday my degree has definitely gone to the back of my mind. Hopefully all returns to standard business next week... #cambtweet - J 💞

Sometimes, when I think I'm not quite busy enough, I agree to do a show! This week I'm programming sound for the Footlights Spring Revue. Good fun, but a tiring task. #cambtweet - J 💞

I can feel the flu settling in, so trying to get on with essays whilst I can. One more to go before I have a few days of focusing on my diss. As a short break, I went to a great talk on psychological preparation for Varsity matches, mega cool! #cambtweet - J 💞

I've now completed 2 out of the 3 essays due for the start of next week! What a win! Clearing up the brain fog with a gym session and some brunch (obviously) before I get to reading again. #cambtweet - J 💞

After falling into bad habits, I now try and clean my room after finishing every essay to help reset. Now the deep clean's done, time to head to the gym with friends and then get cracking on the next essay! #cambtweet - J 💞

Today was busy-ish! Lots of rugby watched and played (a match against the Pacific Islanders, and the Six Nations) followed by an attempt to get a few hours of work in. Successful enough with two articles read for my next essay. Happy weekend! #cambtweet - J 💞

Today was not my most academic day. After two broken down bikes, I finally got to a lecture, physio and ALDI for my big shop. Not my favourite 9-5 I've ever done. But I often forget that I'm not just here to study - I live here too, getting jobs done is a relief #cambtweet - J 💞

I am VERY excited after getting an essay in a day early. I want you all to know that this is an unprecedented move from me. Trying to get ahead of deadline is a huge thing in Cam, and now all I can hope is that the rest of the term continues this way! #cambtweet - J 💞

Another day of essay reading! Today I also got to chat with some of the wonderful donors to the university and college's wellbeing support systems - what an honour. Tonight, obviously watching the traitor's final, and then off to the theatre for a show! #cambtweet - J 💞

Today I've had 4 contact hours - something a humanities student should never have to go through! But, two positive supos with a 'great start' on my dissertation draft. Balancing out sad injury news (no rugby?) with a great academic start to the term #cambtweet - J 💞

I have been exhausted these past few days! With only three days to get an essay written, and early lectures (10am!?!?) everyday I've been tired. Today, however, with my essay submitted I'm going to do my chores that I always forget to do when I'm focused on work #cambtweet - J 💞

Late tweet after a busy day! Had my first two lectures of term, and made it to both of them. Followed by a long evening at the Cambridge Union, speaking in the pre-debate debate and loving spending time with my friends. Another lecture early tomorrow! #cambtweet - J 💞

One day until lectures start up!! Feeling pretty pleased that I've got my dissertation draft in, so today has been a lot of self-care and relaxing before the launch into a busy 8 weeks. Excited to see what my final term of lectures (ever?) holds #cambtweet - J 💞
