Hello! My name’s Meg and I am the new custodian of this account! I am doing the MSt in Writing for Performance at @Selwyn1882 . I will be sharing insights into life at Cambridge as a graduate student, and am here to answer any questions you may have✨
This evening I watched @Selwyn1882 choir sing in the gardens which was absolutely delightful. Then played some board games in college bar with friends while watching the football. An evening well spent #cambtweet
Have just been to the dress rehearsal of @SlavePlayBway at the Noël Coward. Jaw on floor still. Galvanising. THEATRE. Hilarious, confrontational, gut-punching, clever. I was stunned into silence by the end. Thank you to @jeremyoharris for the invitation. Unreal unreal
Have been feeling a bit down the last couple of days but my very lovely friend just bought me a diet coke and a muffin to cheer me up. It’s the little things!!!!

I went to the Fitzwilliam today with a dear friend to see the Botticelli exhibit ! I only took pictures of it with my camera, so instead here’s me and my coat matching the vanitas

My student cancelled last minute this afternoon so I wanted to make the most of the sudden free time. I went for a swim at Jesus Green Lido for the first time and it was completely gorgeous.

Today I did some work in Harvey’s for a few hours with friends. Home for tutoring for a couple of hours and then going to the cinema this evening with a friend to watch Challengers

My friend @NadiallLines performed some brilliant new poetry at the @FitzMuseum_UK tonight as part of their Love Art After Dark event tie-in with the current William Blake exhibit. A very atmospheric & interesting evening

Joined a research project looking at the illicit antiquities trade; been busy learning the ropes. Thrillingly different from what I’ve done before. I’ve wanted to join a research effort like this for a while so I’m really glad to be involved

My sister visited this weekend so we went punting for the first time!! Our skipper was local legend Nick, who was dressed as a pirate. Despite slightly dreary weather, lots of boats on the river & good cheer

Have rented a film camera from Gonville & Caius photography society so took the long way around town when I was walking places. I found carrying the camera made me look more intently. I’ve got the camera for two weeks, am looking forward to my findings.

Had a perfect Saturday today. Brunch with friends at cafe foy and then wondering around Cambridge all afternoon. Have acquired a new notebook and some embroidery thread. After an unbelievably busy term, I really needed that

Last week was VERY INTENSE putting on the play. But I’m back! I have taken the last couple of days off to recuperate. I was surprised by how exhausted I am bodily as well as emotionally. So, today I saw some friends for lunch and a gossip in Harvey’s
