Denver guy, here. That's not @MelatKirosCO's argument. In this clip, she says Medicare for All isn't happening because people like DeGette rhetorically claim to support it but then take cash from Medicare For All's corporate opponents & don't use their power to actually enact it.
It's not just DeGette, of course. It's the standard Lucy-With-The-Football game that the entire Democratic Party establishment plays and that people like you, @AJentleson, think voters are too stupid to catch onto. Well, guess what? They've caught on.
The New York Times has included my opponent, @DWStweets, as one of six Democratic incumbents most at risk of losing to a progressive challenger.
I'm running in FL-20, and with your help I will retire Debbie Wasserman Schultz from Congress on August 18th.

The establishment will try to convince you that this movement is limited to NYC. Well, last night we proved them wrong.
We’ve got Melat in CO, @chrisrabb in PA, @HamawyForNJ in NJ, and other @justicedems in the pipeline. Let’s go! 🌹
Last month, I met up with my friend @richiejfloyd in St. Petersburg to speak with members of @TampaDSA and @PinellasDSA about my race and the progressive movement we're building together across Florida.
Democratic socialism isn't just for New York — it's a winning message across the country, and we're going to prove it.
Bernie’s right — it’s not complicated, it’s Democratic Socialism.
Together, we can fight for a true democracy where working people have control over their own lives, their government, and the economy. Workers deserve more than crumbs. We deserve a better world.
Obviously this is Zohran’s night, but it’s worth remembering—and appreciating—the guy who made all of this possible, back when none of it was imaginable.
So proud to send another Justice Democrat recruit from NY to Congress!
@DarializaforNY's wins a seismic defeat of AIPAC & the establishment.
She's the working class champion we need: always standing up to wealthy interests to fight for her #NY13 — no matter the personal cost.
RESULT: Darializa Avila Chevalier, a challenger backed by New York's left, has ousted Rep. Adriano Espaillat.
An earthquake result, which means all 3 congressional candidates backed by Mamdani have won: Chevalier, Brad Lander, and Claire Valdez.
