Happy to take part in the 2025 Africa Day Commemoration hosted by @_AfricanUnion, celebrating the rich cultural heritage, diversity, and resilience of Africa.

Highlights included opening remarks, a vibrant heritage exhibition with country pavilions, traditional performances, art displays, regional dances, and our tasteful African cuisine.

The day provided a unique opportunity to celebrate our shared identity, rich cultural heritage and immense potential, and what a great delight to showcase our 🇨🇲culture. God Bless Africa.

It was a great honour to have been invited to attend and speak at this year’s Chevening Orientation.

Delighted to address over 1,400 scholars and leaders from 140 countries who gathered for the first time in the welcome #Orientation event by the @FCDOGovUK and UK Government.

My speech focused on highlighting my experience in the UK, achievements from the Chevening year, future plans and advice for this year’s cohort. Orientation is Chevening’s largest flagship in-person event of the year. This year’s orientation is even more special. Chevening celebrates its 40th anniversary with a global alumni community of more than 57,000 leaders, including 20 current or former heads of state.

A wonderful way to have represented our entire 2022 #Chevening cohort, our nation Cameroon 🇨🇲, and even the entire Chevening Alumni Community.

I remain very grateful to @CheveningFCDO, @FCDOGovUK, @GOVUK for this wonderful opportunity. Grateful to the 2023 #class for all the messages and appreciation following the event.

One year ago, I was awarded one of the most prestigious scholarships in the world, which totally turned my life and career around, putting me on a world stage and enabling me to gain a world-class education, studying for an MSc in Cybersecurity and forensics on a fully funded scholarship.

This past week, our tech empowerment initiative, @FFOFoundation, partnered with @GDGBamenda as one of its sponsors for the Google I/O Extended Bamenda 2023.

This event was held at the University of Bamenda and hosted over 100+ participants. Very happy to see how much the participants acquired during this event and how it inspired many young people to be passionate about technology.

This event hosted several sessions, Google announcements on the latest ground-breaking technologies, and sessions where participants learned some hands-on technical skills on what’s new and much more!

What an amazing #Chevening year and journey it has been!! Officially a #Chevening Alumni.

This past week the UK Government @FCDOGovUK hosted a joint scholarships event to celebrate the achievements and memories made in the passing academic year for @CheveningFCDO, #Commonwealth, and #Marshall Scholarships (2022/2023 cohort). Another opportunity to network, get to know one another, listen to talks from some incredible speakers, and all together as a cohort.

As part of the Scholar Achievements segment, a recognition of scholar achievements, I was very happy and honored for an opportunity to share a highlight of my #Chevening journey as spotlight by #Chevening. To share my journey with an audience of over 1,600 scholars and leaders in one place is a wonderful opportunity I will forever cherish.

This event hosted wonderful speakers such as the Secretary of State, the RT Hon @JamesCleverly, Anulika Ajufo, Marshall Commissioner, and His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales @KensingtonRoyal. We have become part of the prestigious Chevening Alumni network @CheveningAA, a global network of over 55,000 leaders.

As part of my role as a Chevening Social Media Ambassador #CheveningSMA, it was an honour to also receive a special recognition from Chevening during this event. I remain very grateful.

In Riyadh, my friend, who teaches at IBN KHULDUN International School, recently hosted a Youth Opportunities Conference for her students, which took place at IBN KHULDUN International School in Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦.

She spoke and highlighted opportunities like Chevening Scholarships and how prestigious and transforming it is to be a chevener and recipient. Guess what? I was very honoured seeing that she featured me and my journey during this presentation while talking about Chevening Scholarships. I am truly grateful and honoured! This means a lot!

Today, we had the great honour of attending Chevening's event on how to manage exam stress, hosted by experts on how to deal with exam stress and having our minds focused in light of upcoming exams and many assignments and coursework.

During this event, we learned several ways to cultivate and maintain deeper states of focus and flow, enabling us to tackle revision schedules and focus during exams with greater ease.

It was a great time to learn how we can defeat distractions and focus intensely on what matters regarding our coursework and academic and professional aspects. The event featured many breakout sessions where we got to share, discuss and learn from other scholars.

Following this event, we have learned how to deal with distraction and procrastination, basic neuroscientific and psychological concepts to enhance our capabilities, and many techniques to optimise productivity daily and an ability to create and maintain focus.

We remain grateful to @CheveningFCDO for this opportunity. This event comes very timely as we prepare for exams and many due coursework and assessments.
