Friends who are under quarantine (like me in Czech Republic) or about to be, I'm sure many of you have stocked up on groceries for the upcoming weeks. As a professional chef I wanted to share some tips to assist you to prepare meals for the next while.
Our #diplodog Charly 🐕 said goodbye to #Prague as she makes her way to 🇨🇦 today. Charly made many friends in @Praha6 and so to our kind neighbours who often stopped to say hello when she was in the garden thank you from our whole family. Děkuji a nashledanou!
I still have a few days left in Prague but @camcooks started the journey home to 🇨🇦 today. Among his travel essentials - his #hockey 🏒 gear. Something 🇨🇿 friends will understand well 😉
@DougSaunders If you want an interesting tour of Kitchener (Berlin) reach out. My father (and lifetime resident/ on historical society etc) does tours and can share lots about the history & growth of area
Seeking central London resto recs that are not too pricey but good value. Any type of food. Going with 14 yr old vegetarian (but resto don't have to be veg). Thanks!
@paulaforbes Lastly, non food, Locker Barcelona off Playa Catalunya is very handy (and affordable) if you need a place to store luggage (in between hotel/rental check out and time to go to airport).
@paulaforbes First three are more classic tapas. Though in touristy areas I thought they were reliable and great value for money. Velodromo is great old school bar/cafe charm. Gatblau is interesting as mainly vegetarian.
@jsquaredink Do a 'quick soak'. Bring kettle of water to boil and pour over the beans for about 2 hours. If you then have a pressure cooker, cook the beans that way. Good luck.
@JonnyPotter87 My tennis coach today told me he picked the Dutch to win. But he qualified that with "I know nothing about football" Then he showed that by saying maybe Italy has a chance.🤣
