Excited to share my autobiographical case report with @AnnalsofIMCC. This work reflects my firsthand experience with an uncommon diagnosis: Nutcracker Syndrome. I learned a great deal from this journey as both physician and patient!
A new case report describes nutcracker syndrome, a rare vascular disorder, in a previously healthy man who began passing blood clots in his urine after a 20-pound weight loss. Conservative management, including weight gain and strength and flexibility training, led to a favorable outcome. Had a great time at #DDW2026 this month. I gave an oral presentation on a machine learning model I programmed for our acute pancreatitis trial.
I also shared posters on AI-based gastric precancer risk prediction and our H. pylori outreach campaign in Los Angeles Koreatown.
Grateful to have presented this case at my regional @ACPIMPhysicians meeting, where it received 3rd place in the case report category!

When my friend asked me to secretly film his #proposal, I knew the only right way to do it was to don my #sombrero, grow a #mustache, and become a #safariexplorer. Thanks for letting me creep on your special day betwixt the thicket of the bushes. #Congratulations!!! โค๏ธ๐
