@steffiehome I was able to fix my battery drain by backing up my phone to the computer, going to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings , and then restoring from the backup on my computer. It took 4+ hours for the whole process, but my phone is working normally now.

#ios14 extreme battery drain is a big problem. Instead of 24+ hours of usage, I now see about 4 hours and a hot phone. I’ve tried everything except resetting my phone, which I cannot easily do. I’m an early adopter for 20+ years, but this will be the last. @AppleSupport ?

I erased all content and settings and restored from a backup. It appears that my phone is now back to normal battery consumption. #ios14 excessive battery drain is no more

Well, nothing has worked, phone is essentially bricked. Battery is draining so quickly now that it's difficult to keep a charge even plugged into the charger. #ios14 battery rapid battery drain. @AppleSupport any help?

@kiksthasupastar @AppleSupport If you have an Apple Watch @jsnell recommended re-pairing if you have an Apple Watch. I just tried that and I need to give it some time to see if it makes a difference.

@benmatlock @jsnell I’m curious to see how many people with the ios14 rapid battery drain issue also have an Apple Watch. I do and will try re-pairing to see what that does
