Happy Birthday to us! 3 years ago today we tentatively aired the first of 3 pilot episodes of @SalvageHunters_ Classic Cars. We’re now 5 series in, with 3 more coming. Thank you so much to everyone that’s watched it, made it, contributed to it or helped us with the cars! ❤️❤️
To my colleagues in the press. Words matter. Do not use euphemisms to explain away what we all saw yesterday. This was an attempt to undermine American democracy incited by a defeated president of the United States. This was an insurrection, domestic terrorism, an attempted coup.
@sniffpetrol Actually Richard, I thought it was a great piece. Completely agree with the main through point too. Plus you mentioned Talbot Alpines - which are exceedingly rare in New Zealand and my Gran’s neighbour had one - so you had me at “Bonjour”.
@PodcastTheRide@phatcarlson I think “Raves” is a stone cold classic. I can’t shake its final 40 seconds out of my head. Admittedly that involves repeating the word “Raves” multiple times. But still: awesome work. In the same week as ‘McCartney III’ is released too. Wow.
RIP #GeoffreyPalmer. No, not the boring Kiwi ex-PM. I mean the good, actorly one. ‘Butterflies’ is underrated today, but he was excellent in it. And as the doctor in “The Kipper & the Corpse” ep of ‘Fawlty Towers’.
Here is an exclusive preview of the cover for Tintin in America, remastered and coloured from its original version to reappear in kodachrome. Available soon.
