This has to be a proud moment for Jay Wright. Mentored three-fifths of the lineup that ended the Knicks’ 53-year title drought. A final feather in the cap of a legendary career.
@PiratesStrong Listen to @DKPghSports’ Daily Shot of Pirates for today. I was with you on this topic until I heard @Dejan_Kovacevic’s commentary today. He’s 26 already and in his rookie season, so they’d really be getting an extra year *maybe*
When manager Don Kelly says the Pittsburgh fanbase is a "sleeping giant" ready to wake, he speaks from experience. The 2026 club just might be the team that rouses them. https://t.co/N0FFa94goN
@MomOf3KGs Had the opportunity to meet him during last year’s spring training. After signing autographs for about an hour postgame, he came over and I was able to get a picture with him. He’s an amazing baseball player, but an even better human being.
@TomSilvia7@FoulTerritoryTV@JimBowdenGM Possibly. Well, let’s say baseball isn’t around this time next year and the owners fight for a salary cap system that includes a floor, a cap, and expanded revenue sharing. There’s a system that would allow the Pirates to keep him and we wouldn’t have to discuss this.
