Just a heads-up that we'll be closing our Twitter account one week from today. Climate Change is at the heart of our project and we no longer feel comfortable sharing this space with those who don't believe in it. We'll still be available via our other feeds. See you there! 😁
The film was made possible thanks to partnerships between @YorkshireFilm and @NorthEastFilm , York Business School, @YorkStJohn University Cinema and Social Justice Project, and support from the @HeritageFundUK [3/3]
On Thursday 21st November, we'll be airing Nature Matters at Cafe Etch in Middlesbrough: A timely short film from The Yorkshire and North East Film Archives created using archival footage to remind us of our innate relationship with the natural world. [1/3]
After the screening, we'll be hosting a frank and open discussion about the film in the amazing ambience of the Cafe.
We're hosting the Film Night from 6pm to 8pm, and you can grab your tickets at https://t.co/O1fmHHQDOP. Be quick as spaces are limited!

🍄🍄Thanks to everyone for coming on our mushroom foraging walk today. As you can see from the photos we found lots of mushrooms (and apples) including the biggest #mushroom we've ever seen! What an incredible find!!! #foraging#nature#fungi
Yesterday, CAM partners @teeswildlife were able to use @MbroCouncil's cut and collect mower for the first time!
We tested it at Middle Marsh and got a good amount of work done! We'll be back tomorrow - why not join us for the litter pick and see the mower in action?

@Jharrison22@savebutterflies Only one, that's not good. Yes, not many large or small whites this year. Even in allotments, not many on cabbages or kale. Woods are full of Gatekeepers and Meadow Browns. Not many wasps or flies this year.
It's been a very poor year for butterflies, with the lowest number recorded by the Big Butterfly Count. According to @savebutterflies the 5 most common butterflies seen this year have been Gatekeeper, Meadow brown, Large white, Small white, Peacock. #butterfly#climateaction
'It's been a terrible year'
The Butterfly Conservation has declared a national “butterfly emergency” after its annual Big Butterfly Count recorded its lowest ever numbers
