This week sees the start of our summer transition support for primary schools
The move from Year 6 into Year 7 is a major change in every child's life. It's vital that children are supported to deal with those changes well and to be able to overcome the challenges they may face
A small group of year 7’s worked really well @OutwoodAcademy Bydales had some really open and honest conversations about Building their Resilience.
They also created some excellent art work and some profound messages encouraging themselves and others.

One of our Public Health South Tees Young Voices members has been working with @stbernadettesm HeadStarters to explore how children understand mental health.
Children shared what makes them feel happy, what helps when they feel sad and how emotions show up in everyday life
During our new Attendance Programme, we've been working with students at several secondary schools to support them in building resilience for when school becomes a challenge
Students at @KingsAcademyESF have already seen an improvement in attendance! #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek
St. Clare's RC Primary HeadStarters recently completed their Silver Award by leading a school assembly on mental health
They shared the skills and strategies they have learned, including how to look after their own wellbeing and how to support others #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek
We've been working with the Public Health South Tees Young Voices group to develop some key messages for #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek. Here’s what our young people had to say @MbroCouncil@RedcarCleveland

During exam season, relaxing and taking time to do something you enjoy is as necessary as revising.
Constant revision will burn you out and your brain will stop taking in information.

Today marks the start of #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek
This year's @mentalhealth theme is taking action for good mental health.
Small changes in your routine can make a real difference to your emotional wellbeing and improve mental health long-term
We know SATS week can be scary for children and parents as it's the first time your child faces real exam conditions
Support them by encouraging them to do their best, making sure they have time to relax at home and that they have a consistent bedtime routine #SATSWeek#MHAW
Working alongside Matthew Williams from Knock Out Depression, our HS team brought together movement and mindset using boxing to explore balance, resilience and consistency. Ings Farm Primary School YR 6 pupils now have the practical tools to manage challenges.
We are proud to be supporting the Make It Better campaign!
Doodle for five minutes? Put on a song and dance in the kitchen?
Creativity doesn’t have to be big or perfect -
small moments matter. #MakeItBetter#CreativelyHealthy
Did you know that regular creative activity has been shown to reduce stress and anxiety, improve mood, support emotional regulation and even benefit physical health for children and young people?
That’s why we’re supporting the #MakeItBetter campaign #CreativelyHealthy
