The Live Well Centre is a unique wellbeing hub offering a wide range of support for people in Middlesbrough who want to lead healthier and happier lives.
It is completely normal to feel stressed and anxious in challenging times such as this and to feel this way does not at all mean that we are failing!
If your mental or emotional state quickly gets worse during the Coronavirus outbreak, or you’re worried about someone you know..
Have you watched ‘Keeping Well at Home’ on Teesside TV? Researchers at Teesside University would like to hear your views on the programme. We would like to recruit up to 30 people and to say thank you, we will be offering a £20 gift voucher. For more information, see here;
Anyone who lives or works in Middlesbrough can book tests.
We are encouraging those people who can’t work from home and are therefore more likely to come into contact with other people to book regular tests.
Tests are available to book here now https://t.co/uiPTxqAupz
Testing is one of the key tools we have to contain the spread of coronavirus while the vaccine programme is rolled out nationally. If we can identify more people who are carrying the infection we can help to drive down transmission rates and save lives.
Public Health Middlesbrough have opened the first Community Testing site providing rapid Covid-19 tests this week at Middlesbrough Sports Village with more sites due to open at North Ormesby Community Hub on Monday 15th February and Newport Community Hub on Tuesday 16th February.
