@_hannahswann Or put another way: the rebrand is trying to position them as a luxury product (ie one that can dictate to customers) but it is not, it is only a really good really premium product.
@_hannahswann What does make a rebrand good or bad? Surely people saying “I don’t like this rebrand” are trying to say “I identify with this product less now” which means they will use it less and get less value from it? Unlike eg the jaguar rebrand, the critics are actually users.
@mattdykema Can you be more specific? E.g. which parts of the stack do you think they’re not integrating effectively and how does this translate to a poor product for customers? Are you saying that the price point is too high and if they were more vertical then it would be worth it?
@BjarturTomas One of these is not like the other (the yoneda lemma). I don’t think entry level category theory is on the critical path to AGI but what do I know.
@luusssso People decided they wanted things to go with other things in their homes, this washing machine looks _incredible_ in isolation but it burdens the owner with having to design the rest of this room around it. It’s easier to make things look intentional if everything is off-white.
@BellRibeiroAddy I too am disappointed that my fringe view of “do away with computers” will not be represented on the ballot paper. This is my view and I am a Labour member so I think it is relevant to your tweet.
@kami_no_youna@MidClsScrounger@BellRibeiroAddy It can obviously be challenged, you just need to convince 80 mps to agree with you (not a ridiculously high number) or, better, do a leadership challenge (you have as long as you like to organise this).
