@MicheleTobias Mine used to be wiping the counter and cleaning all the food bits out of the sink... This week it's being able to work from home while the kids are on spring break. So... Still the first one I guess.
@Spatial_Punk Awesome... If depressing... Map.
I wonder how Canada would stack up? Is there anything published on the methodology? Maybe I can try to replicate for my class...
@pokateo_ Brings me back to the days of environmental consulting... It's tricky to map and display sub-surface contaminants in water, nevermind soil. There are various things wrong with this map... but I've seen MUCH worse.
@VanOpenData Hey, I'm having trouble getting the downloaded shapefiles to open in ArcGIS Pro... any chance you could add File Geodatabase to the download options? (or even spatial SQLite...)
@geo_will I dunno... I like to be around other people... Good to be alone sometimes, but mostly I like people. Being where everyone else isn't sounds lonely.
@PetersonGIS@Ogedei_Bahadur Inkscape is tha bomb... being able to convert a pixel image into an SVG, then modify that SVG to be imported in as your sprite creates super flexible multi-layer symbols. (Both Q and ArcGIS Pro)
@Spatial_Punk Yeah... I can see that... Especially in the early days of IPA when they were just going for bitterness (adding in lots of hops early in the boil). Nowadays there is more room for balance (citrusy aromas from late addition hops)... I like all the beer styles tbh. Your fav?
@Spatial_Punk Honestly, it's mostly what I drink... partly because it's one of the most forgiving styles, so they're generally not awful. I would love to see more lower ABV dry stouts on tap, and on the shelves, though...
@sherheat@richardzussman No... not for many trips. However my mother now has an e-Bike that she uses for her 15+km commute to her shop and back in a small-town/rural situation (at least in the summer). Still needs a car... but some trips optional now.
@Spatial_Punk Not over... but not not over... so long as the hospitalization rates stay low, then we can start treating it as endemic, and worry more about treating it than preventing it. But I'm in BC, where the vax rate is 80% +, and it's different if you're vulnerable.
@vb_jens I mean, it all gets much more complicated if you try to tie housing investment to fixing inequity in our market economy... maybe just leave it all "all investors" and tackle capital movement and investment economics seperately.
@pokateo_ Eventually I gave up as I began to develop real worries that they were going to disable my account by accident. Sometimes outsourcing isn't all it's cracked up to be...
@pokateo_ Some good, some bad... Worst was submitting a ticket to get an AD group created to manage access to a web-map. Calling IT a week later to check on the status. Spending an hour trying to explain the difference between a group and an individual account (no please, don't disable me)
