Happiness is an integral part of the everyday lived American life because

this is a country without culture, folklore, or tradition. We innovate our own identities through neutrality of history and with all of these issue dimensions, happiness acts a social regulator.

Nietzsche, Schopenhauer, Wagner, Goethe, are not heavily emphasized even in philosophy departments at the university.

Happiness is how Americans connect to the pro-life issue which is the determinant of political affiliation. America is pro-life on both sides of the issues.
