Over the weekend, we said goodbye to #TeamMputa 🥲 They spent the last day finishing off the tippy tap project and headed into Jinja town for some local shopping before the trip home ✈️ #DoSomethingAmazing #CampsEffect @CampsInt

#TeamNgege arrived at Ugandan Wildlife Education Centre and worked cleaning cages and feeding the animals. They learnt about the conservation and education efforts at UWEC and how rescued animals and endangered animals are looked after 💕#DoSomethingAmazing #CampsEffect @CampsInt

The teams spent the morning at a local primary school, where they installed tippy tap 💧 hand washing stations to help improve the sanitation and reduce the risks of some diseases. 😍 #TeamNgege #TeamMputa @CampsInt #dosomethingamazing #campseffect

Today #TeamMputa and #TeamNgege spent the morning working at a local organic farm 🌾. In the afternoon, the teams took a river cruise from the source of the Nile, where they spotted lots of local wildlife 🐘 @CampsInt #dosomethingamazing #campseffect

#TeamNgege and #TeamMputa started their project with the Bubogo Conservation Trust, planting 1000 native tree saplings on the bank of the Nile 🌴. This will reduce erosion of the riverbank and help absorb Co2 from the atmosphere🙌 @CampsInt #dosomethingamazing #campseffect

#TeamMputa and #TeamNgege went to a local textile factory, where waste products from banana 🍌 farming are turned into fuel and textiles. They were then entertained by a local drumming group and learnt how to play the instruments 🥁💃 @CampsInt #dosomethingamazing #campseffect

#TeamNgege and #TeamMputa travelled down to the city of Kampala to experience a different perspective of the country 😊. They enjoyed some time at a local craft market, improving their haggling skills and visiting a Baha’i temple 🛕 @CampsInt #dosomethingamazing #campseffect

Today, #TeamMputa and #TeamNgege visited Ziwa rhino sanctuary 🦏 where they learned about the amazing conservation work being carried out to increase the endangered white rhino species 😍 @CampsInt #dosomethingamazing #campseffect

Today, #TeamMputa and #TeamNgege toured a local processing plant in Budadiri and learn't how organisations work with the local farmers. They then went on a walk through areas that had a variety of crops growing including coffee ☕ @CampsInt #dosomethingsmazing #campseffect

#TeamMputa spent the weekend continuing their project work 🧱 and taking part in cultural activities. This included hair braiding, food preparation and dancing with a local Ugandan dance group 🕺 @CampsInt #dosomethingsmazing #campseffect

After a few days project work, #TeamNgege attended a local church service ⛪ and were warmly welcomed by the local community 😍 @CampsInt #dosomethingsmazing #campseffect
