I don't follow people I don't like, I don't watch stories of people I don't like and I don't interact with people I don't like. Y’all got this weird ass obsession with keeping up with mfs you don't like and i find that so strange.
I'm in love with this quote: 'If it doesn't happen the way you wanted, it will happen in a better way than you imagined.' That's the beauty of God's plan.
If someone has an issue with you but tells everyone except you, it’s not a problem. It’s a performance. They don’t want resolution, they want attention. People who want peace speak directly. People who want validation speak loudly to the crowd.
Y'all really need to understand that i don’t have to be okay with anything that I don't want to be okay with. I spent 95% of my life trying to force myself to be okay with everything no matter if I was uncomfortable, no matter if I knew I didn't want to do this or to do that. And I'm really tired of doing that. It's draining and it's degrading. If I don't want to deal with something I don't have to.
You can do everything you want to try to make people happy and each time you pick them over yourself they continue to lose respect for you, and people who don't respect you will treat you any kinda way. I am tired of being treated disrespectfully and if you can't respect me and treat me with respect then please leave me alone.
No one really warns you about this part of adulthood where you start to feel homesick, not for a house, but for a moment in time. A version of life that doesn’t exist anymore. A place you can’t return to, and a feeling you didn’t know you’d miss so much until it was gone.
if I'm having a tough conversation with you, it's because I want you in my life and want you to tighten up so l can keep you in it. I'm not attacking you.
Sometimes I accidentally accept the bare minimum trying to be considerate of what others are going through & that is a habit I need to let go of expeditiously
