Community Resource Director for a children's mental health care management organization. Passionate community organizer committed to creating stronger community
Today, we’re announcing a public awareness campaign about NJ's Extreme Risk Protection Order (ERPO) law. ERPOs temporarily prohibit access to firearms for at-risk individuals—preventing tragedies before they occur.
ERPOs save lives.

I appreciated the opportunity to meet with the Trenton Capital City Community Coalition and share our latest efforts to combat gun violence. Grateful for their partnership—and for all our community partners—as we work to build trust and create a safer Trenton for everyone.
Communities in NJ are safer thanks to our partners running violence intervention programs. With the support of @GovMurphy, another $14.5M is now available to support this innovative, evidence-informed work that disrupts cycles of violence.

Commonsense gun laws paired with an investment of resources to support community-based public safety strategies make New Jersey safer! Our office is proud to work with federal partners like @RepDonaldPayne to address these issues and amplify the voice of grassroots advocates.
Today, we honor the best partner in government I could ever dream of.
As Sheila took her oath of office as Lieutenant Governor, she said, “We make history not in the moment, but in what we do with it.”
And she did just that. Time and time again.
There have been more shootings than days so far this year and more shootings than at this point in any year since at least 2013. https://t.co/eFbLvJ9hkd
Everyone deserves to feel safe in their communities.
That's why @NewJerseyOAG and I are announcing a $15 million investment in anti-violence initiatives — including funding for gun violence interrupters and mentors for at-risk youth.

Seeing DeSantis try and "own the libs" by sending immigrants to Martha's Vineyard and watching the people there come together to help and care for them says everything about who Republicans are versus who Democrats are.
PRESS CONFERENCE: The Indiana mall gunman who killed three people was 20-years-old. He used a rifle he purchased on March 8 in Greenwood. There was another rifle found in a mall bathroom, purchased March 9. He also had a pistol with him. He walked to the mall with his arsenal.
Police apprehended a man suspected of killing 6 and wounding 24 without shooting him.
And after a brief chase.
I didn't want police to kill him.
But I also know #JaylandWalker should be alive, and his body not riddled with 60 bullets.

Saturday night in America, another mass shooting – this time on Philadelphia’s South Street.
Congress must finally step up and pass gun safety legislation. And our Legislature must act now to send our Gun Safety 3.0 package to my desk. We cannot continue to live like this.
This is an important & significant step forward! Thank you @StevenFulop & members of the City Council for your leadership in providing a public health response for those experiencing mental health & substance use issues. Our team’s statement:
