Friends and family: as you may have heard, a severe weather system was in the Monadnock region this evening. Our staff followed established severe weather plans and sheltered campers, staff, & adult leaders into buildings. The storm has passed & Scouts are enjoying the campfire.

After 9 years as the program director of Camp Wanocksett, Mike Penney has announced his retirement. Mike served a total of 23 years for @nvcbsa inc. 7 years at our Cub Scout camps, @campsplitrock & Camp Collier. We wish Mike the best in his future. #MAScouting#bsa#scouting
