Apparently Roblox’s solution to stop people from buying checkmarks… was to make selling checkmarks allowed.

Roblox openly acknowledged that group owners were selling verification checks. Instead of cracking down on it, their new policy explained in the DevForum post, lets anyone get verified as long as they receive a 10% automatic payout from the game.

So basically, buying a percentage of a game is allowed to my knowledge. Which means, intentionally or not, group owners are now allowed to sell checkmarks.

Just to be clear I don't actually care about any of this, just found it funny that this was their solution to stop group owners from selling checkmark.
