John wants you to believe that ''Westminster has failed Scotland''
Let's fact check that shall we?
Are you outraged that we receive £2,669 per head more than every other person living in the rUK? https://t.co/WA9Q2PXM7q
Nope - neither am I.
John thinks you're really stupid
Wishart backs a 'federal' UK because he dreams of being a ‘Rt Honourable’ followed by a seat in the Lords.
He absolutely loves the Union.
Self-determination is for the people to decide not some pompous fossil who hasn’t progressed independence one iota.

Andy Burnham: "if we don’t have sufficient public control over the cost of the essentials, how can we have control over inflation?"
Reality: prices have risen much more sharply in sectors with greater state intervention than in those led by market forces 👇
Only one phrase matters in Burnham's speech today.
"Britain took a series of wrong-turns in the 1980s."
Anyone who thinks that simply does not understand what happened in Britain's recent history and why, and is therefore doomed to fail to solve our problems. 👇
@DavidDavisMP is one of the most respected and experienced parliamentarians in Westminster. He has built a reputation over decades for taking serious issues seriously. He is not a man who makes allegations of this gravity frivolously.
Rather than answering the substance of what Sir David said, Nicola Sturgeon has resorted to personal abuse. Calling him names does nothing to address the deeply serious issues he has raised.
These allegations concern the conduct of a former First Minister and one of the biggest scandals in Scottish political history. They deserve proper answers, not insults designed to distract from the questions being asked.

Strathclyde Uni did the same last year
They just didn’t publicly publish it like this.
All education course numbers are caped for Scottish Born Students, and we are now seeing these capped numbers growing each year.
The facts are all there if you look behind the SNP curtains.
🚨Provisional figures suggest Scotland's net income tax revenue position in 2024-25 was £728 million weaker than forecast.
Revenues exceeded the BGA by an estimated £0.7 billion, compared to initial forecast of £1.4bn.
And a forecast of £1.1 bn as recently as this January...
It’s not so long since she was threatening SNP NEC members with having to hand over our phones for examination, her primary concern being leaks rather than seeking answers to the questions some of us were asking about the finances. It’s quite the turnaround on “transparency”.
It’s not as you say.
Heriot-Watt has already filled its quota of Scottish government-funded places for Scottish-domiciled students for the current intake cycle. As a result, it has closed its clearing process to additional Scottish applicants.
This is the price you pay for no tuition fees.
With no price mechanism to ration places, Scot Gov rations by quotas instead, placing a strict cap on the number of Scots that can go to university. The cap is determined by the size of the budget Scot Gov has allocated to pay for Scottish student places.
It is a very bad system. Scottish universities can take as many English and foreign students as they like (they all come with fees) — and they take a lot. But not as many Scottish students as they like. So many miss out.
Fucking incredible that this rock was unveiled in 2014. The hi-viz children in this photo will be 16 to 18 now and be directly affected by the rationing this policy has led to.
The majority of ScotWind is floating offshore wind. Very expensive electricity, very far from demand, on the wrong side of a grid bottleneck. Of course much of it isn’t going to happen. ScotWind lease options were not “sold off on the cheap” - they just weren’t worth very much.
