DEVELOPMENT TEAM MANAGER WANTED

At Goytre United, our Development Team isn’t a separate side — it’s a key part of our First Team pathway.

We’re looking for a Development Team Manager who shares our ambition to develop and prepare young players to make the step into senior football.

Our Development and First Team players train together, with the Development Manager working as part of the club’s wider coaching set-up.

We believe this gives us something genuinely exciting:

⚽ One coaching set-up
📈 A clear pathway from Development to First Team
🤝 Coaches working together across both squads
🌟 Young players given a genuine opportunity to progress

The aim is simple: develop our players and give them the best possible chance of representing Goytre United’s First Team.

If you’re an ambitious coach who wants to develop players while being part of a progressive senior coaching environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Following a thorough recruitment process after advertising the vacancy earlier this year, the club were hugely impressed by Nathan’s experience and clear vision for how he wants to build the identity of the team both on and off the pitch.

Nathan will officially begin his role at the conclusion of the 2025/2026 campaign, with preparations already turning towards pre-season planning and the club’s upcoming 2026/2027 Ardal League campaign.

While Nathan will officially start at the conclusion of the current campaign, everyone at the club is excited to begin this new chapter together.

The hard work now begins behind the scenes as we build towards pre-season and our next Ardal campaign.

Everyone at Goytre United would like to welcome Nathan to the club and wish him every success in the role.

Absolute credit to @SouthGowerFC this afternoon, despite being down to 10 men, the showed a great fighting and team spirit to comeback into the game and we have no doubt we will see you guys back in the future.

[Goytre United FC @GoytreUtd]

What a game at Glenhafod Park today.

After going 2-0 down inside 10 minutes, the boys showed unbelievable character to turn it around and lead 5-3 with half an hour left to play.

With South Gower AFC needing a win to avoid relegation, the drama was far from over. They flipped the game again and took the lead in the 94th minute… only for Jenson Jones score a header 3 minutes later to make it 6-6 — confirming South Gower’s relegation in the process.

Pure chaos. Pure entertainment.

Come follow the Goyt for goals ⚽️

[Goytre United FC @GoytreUtd]

Another hat-trick from our striking talisman means it’s 30 goals for the season for @KeaneWatts9.

Huge shout also to Dan Simmonds on 20 assists and top of the @ArdalSouthern charts.
