Hello Senator Thune,
At 3 AM on Friday, March 27th, in a near-empty chamber, you passed a bill by voice vote that excludes all funding for ICE and CBP.
Let me repeat that: voice vote. No roll call. No record of who was there. No accountability. Just you, Barrasso, and a handful of senators shuffling paper in the dead of night while America slept.
You could have demanded a recorded vote. You chose not to.
You could have held the line for five more days until the House returned. You chose not to.
You could have used the same procedural tools Democrats have used against you for 40 days. You chose not to.
Instead, you gave Chuck Schumer exactly what he asked for, DHS funding minus immigration enforcement, and called it a win. Then you walked to the cameras and blamed the Democrats.
Let's be precise about what you did:
1. You caved to a demand Democrats made on Day 1 of this shutdown. Forty-one days of supposed hardball negotiation, and you settled for their opening offer.
2. You handed them a template. The next time Democrats want to defund any agency — ICE, CBP, or anything else — they now know: just shut down DHS and wait. John Thune will fold at 3 AM.
3. You punted to reconciliation. "Good possibility," you said. Not "we will." Not "guaranteed." Just maybe. Meanwhile, ICE operates on fumes from last year's bill with no certainty of future funding.
The precedent you set:
You have argued for months that the filibuster is sacrosanct. That the 60-vote threshold protects minority rights. That we cannot bend Senate rules for policy wins.
But at 3 AM on Friday, you bent every norm that actually mattered:
• Voice vote to avoid accountability
• Empty chamber to avoid debate
• Midnight deal to avoid scrutiny
• Immediate recess to avoid questions
You'll bend the rules to avoid a fight. You just won't bend them to win one.
What you've actually accomplished:
Democrats demanded ICE restrictions. They got ICE defunded.
Not reformed. Not restrained. Defunded.
And you're out here tweeting about how Democrats are the "Defund the Police" party while you just voted to defund border enforcement at 3 in the morning.
The question you should answer:
Why did this deal have to happen at 3 AM?
Why couldn't it happen at 3 PM, with cameras rolling and every senator on record?
You know why. Because you didn't want your voters to see what surrender looks like.
Here's my message: We saw it anyway.
Stop hiding behind "Democrat obstruction." You're the Majority Leader. You set the schedule. You control the floor. You chose this outcome.
Own it.
How many oil refineries were there in Calif when you were sworn into office? (18)
How many are there today? (11)
How many gallons of gas did Calif produce when you were sworn into office? (14.5 billion gallons)
How many gallons of gas does Calif produce today? (11.5 billion).
Gavin Newsom -- closed 7 refineries and reduced production of gasoline in Calif by more than 20%
Trump didn't do that -- gasoline refining is a state level business.
Newsom did it.
⛽️ A GASOLINE STORY:
WIFE: "Four dollars and fifteen cents a gallon! I nearly fell over at the pump. Thanks a lot, Trump. And that whole mess with Iran."
HUSBAND: "Whoa, whoa. Not so fast, hon."
WIFE: "Not so fast? Gas is through the roof!"
HUSBAND: "Here's the crazy part. Oil is actually about forty bucks a barrel CHEAPER than it was under Biden. The barrel isn't the problem."
WIFE: "Then why am I paying four fifteen?!"
HUSBAND: "Refining. Turning the oil into gasoline. That's the bottleneck. And get this - we haven't built a major new refinery in this country since 1977."
WIFE: "Nineteen seventy-SEVEN? I was in high school!"
HUSBAND: "Not one. And we keep shutting down the ones we've got. California alone is closing about eighteen percent of its refineries!"
WIFE: "Who shuts down a refinery when gas costs this much?!"
HUSBAND: "The Democrats. They spent fifty years regulating them to death - permits, lawsuits, fees, and a promise to ban gas cars. Who's going to spend a billion dollars building something Washington swears it's going to outlaw?"
WIFE: "So it was never really about Iran."
HUSBAND: "Iran nudges the barrel a little. But the real story? We've got more oil than any country on Earth and we STILL import six million barrels a day, because we can't refine our own."
WIFE: "That is absolutely insane."
HUSBAND: "Here's the good news. Trump just broke ground on the first new refinery in almost fifty years, down in Texas."
WIFE: "So I've been blaming Trump and HE is the only one actually fixing it?"
HUSBAND: "Now you're getting it."
WIFE: "Wow, I had no idea..."
They say we don't teach about socialism in schools. Yes we do: group projects. Where you do ALL the work because your 3 lazy teammates do nothing, but you have integrity and don't wanna fail, but they end up getting the same grade as you for nothing. That's socialism. It sucks.
Turn to Christ.
Not “become Catholic.”
Not “become Protestant.”
Turn to Christ.
He didn’t call His people to a denomination. He called His people to Himself:
“Come to me.” (Matthew 11:28)
“Follow me.” (Matthew 4:19)
“Believe in me.” (John 14:1)
“Abide in me.” (John 15:4)
Christianity begins and ends with Jesus Christ.
He saves.
He mediates.
Christ is the head of the Church.
He is the cornerstone.
He is the way, the truth, and the life.
The Church belongs to Him.
So don’t begin by asking, “Which denomination should I join?”
Begin with the question He asked:
“Who do you say that I am?” (Matthew 16:15)
Repent. Accept Him as your Lord and Savior and then follow Him.
I want every lunatic tik tok wine mom to watch a video of the EIGHT MONTH OLD being strangled to death BY THEIR OWN MOTHER while wearing these tiny baby pajamas 💔😭 and then look me in the eye and say she doesn’t deserve to be hanged by the neck until dead.
Fuck that psycho murderer and every single person supporting her.
No one failed Lindsey Clancy.
She planned it.
However, because I am not Candace Owens, let me be clear- this is my opinion, albeit one I believe wholeheartedly, and here’s why:
• She had been seeing multiple doctors and collecting prescriptions without disclosing the full picture to any of them, or that she was even seeing the others.
• She was non-compliant with the medications she was actually prescribed. Yet she randomly decided to take the Seroquel before jumping?
• She researched how long it would take to send her husband on two specific errands (including takeout from a place they didn’t usually ORDER from and farther away than their usual options) She searched for the restaurant, directions/route, MiraLAX, and CVS. She knew roughly how long he would be gone via map/search data. Digital evidence shows phone activity consistent with planning the sequence that would give her the necessary amount of time alone with the children she needed.
• While in the process of killing her children she returned a phone call from her husband who had called a minute earlier. While on the phone with Patrick, she spoke quietly and coherently sounding “a little bit rushed” but never asked him to rush home or call for help. He remembered thinking “she was probably giving them a bath.”
• She had no documented history of psychosis symptoms or a prior psychosis diagnosis from any provider. The first claim of a “command hallucination” came only AFTER she requested an attorney.
• Despite the financial resources, a supportive family network, a nanny, daycare options, and a work-from-home husband, she declined offers of help with the children and ignored recommended treatment programs.
• The self-inflicted wounds were more superficial and inconsistent with a genuine suicide attempt, the jump wasn’t a jump but a “fall” from a relatively short distance and the temp that night was near freezing, which would knowingly slow her bleeding and reduce her brains oxygen requirement- thereby prolonging her life. With her knowledge, had she actually wanted to end her life she would’ve.
• There have been no further claims of command hallucinations since that day-an outcome that does not align with typical patterns of postpartum psychosis.
• The planning, the precisely calculated window of time, the coherent behavior, and the post-event narrative all point to intentional acts that were meticulously planned in advance rather than an uncontrollable psychotic episode. Which is exactly what I’d expect from a person who was described as controlling, meticulous, and manipulative.
The only victims here are those three innocent children who never had a chance and their father, who will never get to see them grow up.
Jury: Do the right thing.
Every dad, every man should read Patrick Clancy’s 911 call transcript.
Dawson was his first son. The first son to a father is an incredible bond that only God can accurately explain.
My gut is wrenching and I cannot stop thinking about it.
𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸: My wife tried to commit suicide. 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿: Stay awake. How old is she? 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸: 31–33. 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿: Is she awake? 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸: Yes. 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿: Is she breathing? 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸: Yeah. Lindsay, what did you do to your neck? She’s talking. 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿: When did this happen? 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸: Last half hour. 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿: How far did she fall? 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸: 20 feet. 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿: Is she responding normally? 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸: A little bit. Wake up! 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿: What part of the body was injured? 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸: Her neck. She’s breathing. Lindsay, look at me. Look at me. 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿: Are there weapons? 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸: I don’t see any. Where are the kids? 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿: Do not move her. 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸: Open your eyes. Lindsay, look at me. Open your eyes. Say my name. 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿: I’m going to tell you how to stop the bleeding. 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸: It’s not really bleeding… open wounds. She’s in the backyard. 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿: Is there something on her neck? Can you put pressure on it? 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸: No. Lindsay, wake up. They’re coming. Look at me. 𝗦𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘀. First responders arrive. 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸: I need you to stay with her. I have to go check on my kids.
𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 / 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽𝘀. 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸: Guys? Guys? Cora? Cora? Dawson? Oh no. Oh no! Wake up! Then screaming and gasping for an extended stretch. 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿: What’s going on? Hello? 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸: Basement! Basement! Oh my God! I need help in the basement right now. 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿: Hello? Hello? 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸: Dawson! My buddy! My little boy! My buddy! AHHHHH, SHE KILLED THE KIDS!!! Oh my God!
How anyone in the United States can forget what happened and allow what is happening now in places like New York is mind boggling. Utter disgrace. Ms. Sweeney will forever be a hero.
HERO: Madeline Amy Sweeney knew the plane had been hijacked. Instead of panicking, she started gathering information.
On the morning of September 11, 2001, the 35-year-old American Airlines flight attendant was working aboard Flight 11, a Boeing 767 traveling from Boston to Los Angeles.
Not long after takeoff, something was terribly wrong.
The cockpit stopped responding.
Passengers were being attacked.
Crew members were injured.
The aircraft was no longer under the control of its pilots.
As chaos unfolded around her, Sweeney managed to connect to an American Airlines operations center using an Airfone. On the other end was supervisor Michael Woodward.
What followed would become one of the most important eyewitness accounts from inside a hijacked aircraft.
Sweeney didn't waste precious moments focusing on her own fate.
Instead, she began relaying information.
Carefully.
Clearly.
Methodically.
She described the men who had taken over the plane.
She gave their seat assignments.
She reported injuries among passengers and crew.
She explained that a passenger had been stabbed.
Every detail mattered.
Even as she faced the reality that she might never leave the aircraft alive, she continued feeding information to authorities.
According to later accounts, Woodward was struck by how calm and composed she remained. Her voice was steady. Her descriptions were precise.
Then she provided information that would later prove critical to investigators.
She identified Mohamed Atta as one of the hijackers and supplied details about the others involved.
As Flight 11 headed toward New York City, Sweeney stayed on the line, continuing to report what she could see.
At 8:46 a.m., the plane slammed into the North Tower of the World Trade Center.
Everyone on board was killed.
Sweeney was just 35 years old.
The information she provided during those final minutes became some of the earliest and most valuable evidence available to investigators trying to understand what had happened.
She couldn't regain control of the aircraft.
She couldn't stop the hijackers.
She couldn't save herself.
But she could help others understand what was unfolding.
And she did.
Until the very end.
Madeline Sweeney left behind her husband and two young children—her son, Jack, who was four, and her daughter, Anna, who was seven.
They never saw her again.
Yet in the face of unimaginable circumstances, she chose to remain focused, courageous, and selfless.
Trapped aboard a hijacked plane with no way out, Madeline Amy Sweeney spent her final moments ensuring that the world would know exactly who had taken control of Flight 11—and what was happening inside it.
When I imagined a communist takeover of America, I pictured myself sitting in a public high school, looking out the classroom window and seeing Russian paratroopers dropping onto the school grounds.
Gunfire. Chaos. Running for the mountains with my friends and fighting a guerrilla war to take our country back.
What I never imagined in my wildest dreams was Americans electing communists to office and then watching the Democratic Party openly embrace communism as its political ideology.
WOLVERINES!
