Country music usually helps me get over writers' block.
This morning Gretchen Wilson found her way into my playlist (after Oliver Anthony for some reason) and it reminded me of my time studying for the NY bar.
I don't think I've ever memorized so much in such little time.
We're building a mortgage product at @Opendoor, fully AI-native from Day 1.
Homeownership should be easier, especially when it comes to mortgage. We're working together with our partners at @Lennar to make that future a reality - on https://t.co/8KG35Euzpn and off it. More soon
The day I joined @Opendoor I wrote this note.

I just re-read it. We're making great progress.
Home ownership isn't just about a house. It's about families and communities.
The West has been built on the idea that ordinary people can stake a claim in their society, put down roots, and build a future. Renters move. Owners stay.
That matters. That's why we work hard every day to tilt the world towards homeowners.
Homeownership matters. Kids that grow up in homes owned by their parents have better life outcomes.
The work @realDonaldTrump did this week on mortgages will improves the lives of tens of thousands of families.
This is a great thread on how to sell your startup.
If you are a founder, here is a hack on how to get acqui-hired by Opendoor: DM me your team's github handles.
1/ Thread: How to sell your company
Companies are (almost always) bought, not sold. This means somebody needs to *want to buy* your company.
Ideally this happens organically. But how do you, as a founder/CEO, expedite this…particularly when you KNOW you’re hitting a wall?
@pikachustrategy Building great products is what leads to earnings. Not the other way around.
Also, we're in a quiet period - so there is very little I can say.
People often wonder where six week cycles started from. From best I can tell, it was a product invention of @intercom as first described here.

@bscholl@pikachustrategy But if you are a company who is demonstrably bad at AI, you likely do mind if algorithms are used to make ads better since that means your ads are less effective.
I started saying “yes” to all the apps can track me prompts. The internet is now noticeably better with more relevant and less spammy ads.
Apple did us all a disservice with misplaced emphasis on “privacy.”
