After a 104-day wait, CBDT has just released the first version of Offline utility for ITR-5 for Assessment Year 2023-24 on 14th July 2023.

ITR-5 is applicable to Firms, LLPs, AOP, BOIs, Artificial Juridical Person, Cooperative society.

Now, the big question arises: Will CBDT extend the due date for Income Tax Return due to the delayed release of the utility?
