It gives frustrated youth a place to vent their anger through memes and protests, which might satisfy their need for rebellion without ever translating that rage into serious votes for the mainstream opposition.

The CJP got tens of millions of Instagram followers in just weeks, completely surpassing both the BJP and Congress in digital engagement.
