He's clearly aware of attempts to boycott/blacklist his cons as he tries to hide his involvement with this one

There has been talk about a new event, Anime Halloween, that is happening later this year in Schaumburg. The site is very bare bones, but looking deeper into it confirms that Ryan Kopf is behind this new event though he seems to be trying to hide it by not listing it on his site

Some people mentioned this in replies to yesterday's tweet, Ryan's sudden activity seems to be tied to the fact that he is about to open a nerd bar in Davenport, IA. Locals seem to be pretty on top of flooding the fb comments for the bar as they're clearly all deleted already...

Bizarre update today... Kopf uploaded a youtube video where he "proves" allegations against himself are false by debating with himself as someone else?
He also paid to spread this via sponsored fb post

Some 2021 thus far Kopf updates: Kanpai Con in Nebraska still ran last month

AniMinneapolis and Anime Midwest still set to run in May and July respectively (one could possibly argue that July should be ok but Midwest is Kopf's biggest con with attendance of 16,000+ in 2019)

In commencing their heavy advertising for Con Alt Delete, the con is using an image of Kid Yuki and the Otakus, who have already cut ties with Kopf's cons

One of my initial intentions with this account was to inform potential guests so they can make the choice to cancel so I'll put energy towards that for CAD.

This did begin to happen on a local level last year so that's good, but let's aim bigger!

Con season has not existed this year and Anime Midwest was forced to cancel so advertising has shifted to Con Alt Delete. I worry attendance at cons that happen will go up due to everyone missing cons. Let's inform others about why they should not attend CAD if it does run!

Anime Dallas is not really run by Chuck & John. They are just front men. The actual person financing and running the whole show is Ryan Kopf. It was all a secret as due to his rep he has to hide involvement in cons.

That and we watched Ryan Kopf walk up to a booth and order police to watch an artist who "needed to leave immediately" so for the first hour or so of the FIRST day of the con- a QTPOC run business was surrounded by cops
