@pe6asil Haha this is funny and kinda true. I remember once reading someone saying they have never met a person from either country and I think that is true for most of us ?
@xmph_1 But to think about it, few of the big teams have ever given this a try. Only team I remember was England in 2002 and 2006 by Swedish coach Eriksson. Don’t know of any other teams (Germany, Italy, Argentina, France or Brazil until recently). So the sample size is almost nothing.
@calosdan@CrewsMat10 Not a joke, never said that. But not a super team either. Teams L like Mexico, Nigeria or even Japan would have been better competition- I know Nigeria is not in this time, but just saying.
@motelin_mike@CrewsMat10 I think you confused ‘Argentina’ with ‘Canada’. One is in South America, the other in North America. All kidding aside and focusing on Argentina’s group, these teams may be OK in their continent or qualifiers, but come on, we all know their level compared to Argentina.
@GingaBonitoHub This confirms once and for all that he just can’t help it: physical play is part of his arsenal and he is a disaster waiting to happen.
@GingaBonitoHub To think that just 6 months to a year, none of these were guaranteed. In fact if you go back a year ago , only Endrick had played for the NT, but even he wasn’t guaranteed after his spell in Madrid.
@akinbolawrites@badasskachii Absolutely , and I remember the Algeria game well (went to ET). I gave Germany credit for absolutely dismantling Portugal (4-0) and Brazil (7-1) in the SF. Otherwise, could have gone either way against others like Algeria, France and Argentina in the final.
