Alberta - the land where our government spends 3.5 million of taxpayers’ money to find that no one did anything wrong.
Alberta’s biggest economic problem is the government themselves.

Treaty Six Chiefs met with Premier Smith today. They were not impressed: "It was clear from our discussions that Premier Smith does not understand Treaty or our inherent rights nor does she respect them." #ableg
@MitchDexter@rebeccakschulz How can we believe what Schulz says in this sad attack video when she can’t even follow through on previous words spoken by her?
@PierrePoilievre Unless you’re in Alberta where the UCP has removed caps on auto insurance and utilities, plans to cost Albertans more with a provincial police force that a majority did NOT want, and does not listen to the people - quite the opposite of what you preach #AbLeg#cdnpoli
@TiredMamaG @Alberta_UCP@rebeccakschulz Much agreed, hating on opposition is their only go to because they don’t have real solutions to help Albertans, they want/need the social media traction and are hoping to grab votes through hatred. Pathetic politics #AbLeg
After meeting with Premier Danielle Smith for the first time today, Treaty 6 Chiefs had this to say: "It was clear from our discussions that Premier Smith does not understand Treaty or our inherent rights, nor does she respect them." #ableg Full statement:
As an #Albertan I would prefer my premier focus more on the child Healthcare crisis and the women's shelter crisis than straws.
Seriously @UCPCaucus
Since she blocked me, pass that on to her. And each of you - you fail us all when you refuse to fight for your constituents.

The Treaty Six Chiefs have released this statement following their meeting with Premier Danielle Smith today.
"It was clear from our discussions that Premier Smith does not understand Treaty or our inherent rights nor does she respect them," the statement reads.
Disgusting, it’s not a misunderstanding; she literally compared the two. Danielle Smith’s apology is insincere and insulting, if one can even call it an apology.
She doesn’t care for ALL Albertans, only the ones she needs to profit herself.

@KathleenGanley "The way I described it to the Chiefs that I've spoken with is that they had fought a battle over the last number of years to get sovereignty respected and to extract themselves from the paternalistic Indian Act, we get treated the exact same way from Ottawa"

Here’s the full transcript from Premier Danielle Smith’s radio call-in show where she says the Sovereignty Act could have been used against the federal government to ward off paper straws.

In thick of a brutal virus season & pediatric health crisis, not only has Alberta's main public health Twitter been silent for 2months (since day before Danielle Smith won UCP leadership) -it still bears name of Dr Hinshaw, removed 4 weeks ago.
H/t @TheBreakdownAB
So AHS found some "CRITICAL" violations at Danielle Smith's restaurant--The Dining Car in High River. What we really wanna know is....Does expired chocolate milk served in unsanitized dishes taste different if you drink it through a plastic straw instead of a paper straw? #ableg
@YourAlberta has anyone done ANY number crunching on this act? Would love to ask the premier but I’m blocked & haven’t heard back through my email request. Albertans deserve to know what research the government has done to show that this will benefit us more than cost us? #AbLeg
@PunkRockG1 That’s a low point of a jab, as much as I loathe Danielle Smith I would never compare her to Hitler - that’s a Shane Getson level of insult and hurtful to anyone impacted from that terrible part of history
#Ableg
Danielle Smith said she “consulted with Albertans” when crafting her Sovereignty Act
This meant:
❌ First Nation Leaders
❌ Rural Albertans
❌ Municipalities
❌ Constitutional Experts
❌ You or Your Family
✅ A Dark-Money Separatist PAC
Danielle isn’t here for Albertans
Smith: "It’s not like Ottawa is a national government.”
Yes it is. You might not like it, but a govt made up of elected representatives from across Canada is a national government.
