“Normally, having the chief justice of Alberta and the Canadian Bar Association look at a process and be like, ‘No thanks,’ that should give anyone pause, but I sincerely doubt that it will give the UCP pause in this case.”

Canadian Bar Association declines request to help recruit chair for Alberta's electoral boundaries advisory panel after judiciary stepped away from the process.

David Cochrane: The Canada Forever initiative though was started as a preventative measure against the separatism referendum. So I don't know if you can really use that 400k as people clamouring for a referendum
Danielle Smith: Well I know that the proponents are trying to rewrite history on that
"Shame on you, shame on you. Traitors." -- From the gallery of Alberta's Select Special Citizen Initiative Proposal Review Committee as they vote on separation question
"The data on 2.9M Albertans was loaded onto an app built with US funding, shaped by US political strategists, and deployed by a Canadian separatist organizer who spent nearly two years cultivating US partners before launching the Centurion Project"

The Premier must be very upset.
Why just the other day she was expressing her concerns about “anti-democratic” things.
And nothing says confidence in due process like announcing winning a vote before the vote actually happens.
The United Conservative Party put out a statement claiming a special committee had voted to recommend a referendum question for this October, offering Albertans a choice on whether to remain in Canada.
But the release went out while the committee was still meeting and hadn’t actually finalized anything.
This renaming is a prelude to selling off/privatizing paramedic service.
Just like when they renamed Alberta Public Laboratories to Alberta Precision Laboratories and then sold it off to DynaLife.
Otherwise, why waste precious health care dollars on renaming?

Carlene Variyan: "You want to attract a proponent to bankroll a $50B pipeline, and you're asking people to take a look at the province of Alberta, and this is what they're seeing in the news. Who's putting their money into this province?"
"Put simply, they do not want these election laws to apply. They do not want to be investigated."
"With these self-serving changes they are just protecting themselves from future investigations."

Exactly this sort of thing happening.

"Albertans should not be asked to vote in any referendum or election while basic questions remain unanswered about our democratic institutions."
Premier Smith should call a public inquiry. Now.

Anyone else think this "third party" narrative is a made-up cover for David Parker obtaining the List of Electors from his "long time friend, compatriot, brother in arms" Cameron Davies, leader of the Alberta Republican Party?

Where to start...
- The Alberta Republicans confirm they gave the electoral list to a third party
- They revoked privileges after finding out the 3rd party may have provided the list to the Centurion Project
- The Western Standard is advertising the Smith Jesus Summit.
