also i’m feeling reassured in terms of the show taking the incestuous abuse seriously by how obviously they were paralleling magnus and gabi all episode. i liked that.
idk how to explain that Louis and Lestat abusing Claudia and exploiting her and contributing to her death is a feature, not a bug. It’s intentional. The writers are not trying and failing to portray them as good parents, they are very successfully portraying them as failures.
his scar…. i can’t get over all of his looks this season and especially this i dont think i will ever get over it this is genuinely my wife and i keep her picture in my wallet i feel like im going insane
ohsessed with this entire sequence as i love seeing ruthless louis de pointe du lac embracing his vampirism and overall getting to be who he is after being secluded in dubai and having his brain fucked with, but especially with this line delivery… jacob you genius #tvlspoilers

Lestat saying Nicki was bipolar. Do you think he's done research once psychiatry advanced enough to give Nicki's condition a name? do you think it brought him a tiny bit of relief?
Magnus, Lestat’s RAPIST, getting out the door, and mere seconds later Gabriella getting out the same door, I know what they did there and I love it

for sharing them with yet another person, but to him, it doesn't come from a place of malice. it's simply that the way in which a parent-child relationship can become a codependent symbiosis, never left him, not even after her death. he's just a maladjusted parent.
louis is literally...a parent. an invasive, thinking his child is an extension of him, parent. his violations of claudia's most secret thoughts, to him is not a violation at all, but something he feels he has an entitlement to, bc he is her parent. he's absolutely in the wrong—
