A random guy noticed I was struggling with my crutches and offered to help me get down the stairs at hospital. On the way down, he told me he’d fractured his ankle a while back and kept saying things like, “I know it sucks, but it’ll get better.” When we reached the bottom, he asked if I’d like to have dinner with him and go back to his place afterward. I thanked him for helping, but told him I already have a boyfriend.
