@DameeDollaSign@DDodgerTownT@_HMSP I’m talking about people bagging every item separate, double bagging it all. Just grab your reusable bags from home or leave them in car. It’s SO easy. We live in Amsterdam now and don’t have a car and I just bring them by instinct when I leave the house. No excuse for free bags
@DDodgerTownT@_HMSP The bag one I totally agree with. That’s done all over the place. I visit places where it’s not and I remember how things were done before, where people bag their stuff with an insane amount of bags and then double bag all the shit too and come home with a shitstorm of plastic
@DiabolicalSpuds We moved to Netherlands and I realized how the consumerism just isn’t a thing outside the USA. Our purchases online went from 2-3 a week to once every month after a year here. I go back to the USA and it hits like a ton of bricks. People just BUY SHIT like all day every day
@KeenanPeachy Moved to Netherlands a year ago and I will admit when I went back to the USA this month I was very shocked at the people. I wasn’t use to it anymore. People seem incredibly unhealthy.
@MarketKangaroo @MichaelMan80865 @n_e_rd We are past any honeymoon phase. Didn’t leave the USA because of baggage or to flee, did it for a job. Don’t hate the USA and I would never say Europe is perfect and I see a lot of flaws. Just an observation my family has noticed that Americans now seem so on edge and anxious
@MarketKangaroo @MichaelMan80865 @n_e_rd We have moved around. Currently living in Europe and have noticed a striking difference in just the general mood of people between different areas. I’m an American but I get very concerned and anxious coming back here. People are so on edge and don’t seem to fully know it
@Gaffe4Giraffe@victorclubb1@gr8tongue13@mitchellvii Agreed, although it’s going to be highly automated. I just don’t think people stop and think as much as they should that things are going to be much much more expensive if all made in the USA. I’m fine with it, but be prepared for lower income to really suffer and protest
@Gaffe4Giraffe@victorclubb1@gr8tongue13@mitchellvii One thing people need to remember is that if we start building all these things here they’re going to be more expensive than they were when we bought them overseas. The only reason we bought overseas is because it was CHEAP. Things will cost much more
