With the shooting in Toledo, Ohio - it might be a good time to point out that since Trump’s 2nd term: Republicans introduced zero gun reform bills, despite almost 600 mass shootings - while introducing over 800 restrictive voting bills, despite only 40 cases of voter fraud.
Israel keeps grinding in Lebanon,
holding and expanding positions.
Hezbollah can’t shoot drones and rocket at Israel
Israel can’t take down buildings in Beirut.
That’s the deal.
Iranian parliament national security committee chairman Ebrahim Azizi:
“If the strikes in Lebanon do not stop completely, the Zionist entity and American forces in the region should expect difficult days. They know well: this is not just a warning - our hands are already on the trigger.”
Thousands of you have written to me about your recovery since I opened up about mine.
Some of you are years sober. Some of you just made it through a hard day and wanted someone to know.
And I will tell you what I tell everyone: you are not alone.
You never are.

This week, I prepared a special letter addressed to the President of the United States and to Congress. And yesterday, the letter was officially delivered to the institutions in Washington. It is quite rare for the leader of another state to address both the President and Congress of the United States simultaneously with a letter. But the situation now requires action, swift and effective action.
It is important that America hear Ukraine. We understand that much of the world’s attention is currently focused on the war in Iran. But the war here in Europe must also be brought to an end – a very bloody war that is already in its fifth year at full scale.
The sooner we are able to provide greater protection against ballistic threats, the sooner we will be able to make diplomacy work. As long as Russia continues to rely on missiles, its interest in diplomacy is not real. We must correct this. And we can do so only together with America.
Ukraine is grateful to America for all its support. And Ukraine will be even more grateful for a dignified peace and guaranteed security. All of this is possible – if there is sufficient determination.

The IDF killed a Hamas operative who participated in the October 7 attack on the Zikim base. Louay Hashem Mahmoud Batsal, a sniper in Hamas's Zaytoun Battalion, was eliminated over the weekend by Southern Command forces after intelligence linked him to ongoing terror plots against troops in the area.
“People are really hurting right now. People in Michigan are scared. They’re worried that they are going to have to choose between their insulin and their rent.” - @DebbieDingell https://t.co/CJsRLC9xbj
As of now, already 5 people have been reported killed in Kyiv as a result of last night’s Russian attack. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Around 40 people have been injured in the capital, and another 7 in the Kyiv region. There are already 28 injured in Kharkiv. And two people have been injured in the Odesa region. In total, 180 sites have been damaged across the country, including more than 50 ordinary residential buildings.
A search and rescue operation is still ongoing in Kyiv’s Darnytskyi district. Efforts continue to find people under the rubble. More than 10 people are reported missing. All necessary services are also operating in the Obolonskyi district. And recovery efforts are underway after Russian strikes in the Poltava region. Overall, more than 750 personnel of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and nearly 750 police officers have already been engaged across the country to eliminate the consequences of the attack. I am grateful to all who help the rescuers and the police
Also, earlier today, during a humanitarian mission in Kherson, the Russians twice attacked a vehicle of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs with FPV drones, and the Russians could not have been unaware of which vehicle they were targeting. The Head of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and eight other staff members were inside. Fortunately, no one was injured. The mission personnel have been evacuated.
Even so, a significant number of missiles and drones were shot down during these attacks – the overall interception rate is over 93%. Of course, it needs to be higher. And of course, the most difficult challenge is defending against ballistic missiles. I thank everyone who is helping us with this. There must be a just response to all these strikes. And pressure on Moscow must be such that they feel the consequences of their terror there. It is important that global sanctions against Russia remain in place. Russia’s accountability for this war, and our sanctions pressure, must work at full strength. And it is also very important that the world does not stay silent about this terror and stands with Ukraine.
Russian forces in Kherson struck a marked UN humanitarian convoy with FPV drones yesterday, then posted footage of the attack and claimed responsibility.
