don’t usually dive into politics… but AMERICA, GET A GRIP.
A good Christian man was SHOT in the neck and KILLED—because of his views.
Not because he stole. Not because he hurt someone. Not because he was a danger to society.
But because he believed differently.
When did disagreement turn into open season?
When did “agree to disagree” die and get replaced with “hate, cancel, and destroy”?
People hated him so much, because they couldn't argue fundamental truth.
And tomorrow—September 11th—we’ll all post our “Never Forget” hashtags.
We’ll remember a day when America was attacked and, for a brief moment, we actually stood together.
We didn’t care who voted for who, what religion someone was, or what side of the aisle they sat on—we cared about PEOPLE. About protecting each other. About unity.
But here we are now… killing our own over politics.
Over views.
Over opinions.
What happened to us?
What happened to freedom of speech, freedom of belief, freedom to live without fear that your views will cost you your life?
America, it’s time to wake up.
Hate will never heal us. Division will never save us.
If we can “Never Forget” the unity of 9/11, maybe we can start remembering what it means to be human again.

Dear Discover Bank Executive Office / Consumer Financial Protection Bureau,

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the treatment I have received from Discover Bank. I have been a loyal Discover customer for more than six years, but my most recent experience has left me feeling devalued and discriminated against.

Recently, I deposited a cashier’s check from my mother, issued by Bank of America. Discover Bank placed a 7-day hold on the check, citing fraud-prevention policy. In the past, Discover has verified funds by directly contacting both Bank of America and my mother by phone. However, this time, Discover refused to take those reasonable verification steps and instead chose to subject me to a blanket hold policy.

I am disabled and rely on timely access to my funds to manage my daily life. Being forced to wait an entire week for a legitimate cashier’s check is not only unnecessary but also deeply unfair. This treatment makes me feel as though I am being regarded as a third-class citizen or even a criminal, despite my long-standing, positive history with the bank.

I respectfully request:

Immediate release of the funds from this cashier’s check.

A clear explanation as to why Discover refused to use the same verification process that has been used in the past.

Assurance that, moving forward, I will not be subjected to such excessive and discriminatory delays when depositing legitimate funds.

If Discover is unwilling to address this matter fairly, I ask the CFPB to review these practices and hold the bank accountable for unfair treatment of loyal, long-term customers—especially those in vulnerable positions like myself.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response and resolution.
