From our broadcast of students’ dreams projected in their school courtyard all day. I dreamt I had to solve a card game in order to marry a black horse. We make intriguing films for ourselves every night.

I think I prefer getting to know everyone through their subconscious lives. The Nightly News features over 1,000 dreams from K-12 students and shows how much our minds naturally drift to the symbolic and existential.

Feeling the weird energies of Stonehenge in sun + snow. Graffiti includes a dagger from the Bronze Age and the name of local architect Christopher Wren, who made the dome of St Paul’s Cathedral with the same geometries.
Our theater of dreams is open. The Nightly News is a quick experiment that transforms this underground glass courtyard into a reflective space for K-12 students to see how much we're all deeply weird creatures bound together by nerves, fantasy, and the surreal.
After the End is ending Monday and I already feel nostalgic. Originally set to open Spring 2020, it took on another meaning during this pandemic. Thank you to all who visited + shared thousands more letters than we expected. They'll console, haunt, instruct me for years to come.
“I bought a turntable and began to go through my father’s record collection, his musical legacy… Trees comfort me. Faith exists in these hills… Why did I let you go… I am in recovery… I have started showing up for stuff… We all need a little mercy now.”
NY1 news featured After the End in a lovely piece. Sharing our darkest struggles and what has helped might be one of the greatest gifts we can offer to one another.
After the End at @GreenWoodHF through December 6. Free to all.

Running hand script, flying-white technique… We should have such dignified terms for the soulful handwritings of today.
“Biographies of Lian Po and Lin Xiangru” by Huang Tingjian, 1095.
Added hundreds more excerpts from visitors’ reflections to the projections above. They’re more than an hour long now, pulsing with regret, redemption, wisdom, and grace.
After the End, free to all, at @GreenWoodHF through December 6.
