this project was partially inspired by the couple-years old Twitch Atlas - which shows older data on the entire twitch site and how the communities interact - obviously they do not have a dot for every individual but every streamer :)

communities are both way bigger & way smaller than you'd think. in this case, only around 1/10 people will usually verbally engage by more than like two dozen messages. its the actual number :) it's a lurker ran world out there

@Annielovepurple it's all streams! the atlas can be a little inconsistent. i thought it'd be fair to include both of pili's accounts when he joined ls. Most members dont have alts on the map, but i thought of this case as more of an equal account & not an "alt"!

this has 6 times the people as the previous version. also, it should perform better especially on desktop devices. suprisingly its kind of hard to be cool AND performant when rendering 100k objects on your pocket size magic device
