Today, the @ECSA_HC delegation had the privilege and opportunity to meet with Her Excellency Veronica M. Nduva, CBS, Secretary General of the East African Community (EAC).

Among other key issues, we discussed ways to strengthen the partnership between EAC and ECSA-HC , including a review of our existing MoU, originally signed in 2015, to ensure it aligns with current regional needs and priorities.

The EAC remains one of our most strategic and valued diplomatic partners, with collaboration spanning Health Security, Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child, and Adolescent Health (RMNCAH), and Nutrition.

In her remarks, Her Excellency emphasized the importance of a results- and impact-driven partnership.

ECSA-HC reaffirms its commitment to delivering on our shared promises to the people of the EAC and ECSA regions.
