@MarcoBravo420 Affect is a verb, and effect is a noun. So from my understanding large enough fires can affect wind patterns. Fires need oxygen to keep burning and as heated gases expand rapidly above the blaze, it creates a negative pressure pulling in fresh air toward the center.
