This week, I only executed one trade.... made 3R.

If I had convinced myself I wasn’t doing enough, that I needed to “grind harder,” or that I was missing out by not being in the market every day, I probably would’ve forced invalid setups and ended the week in a loss.

That’s the part people misunderstand about trading.

Trading is not about doing more.

It’s not about constantly being in the market, taking setups every day, or trying to prove how hard you’re working.

It’s about doing just exactly what you’re supposed to do according to your edge.

When your setup is there, execute.

When it isn’t, do nothing.

That restraint is part of the edge too.
