@_dyluvjkds_ So you are not even printing it for your own use. You used their work for printing as a gift to others. And you didn't even bother to tell them. This is wild.
It was literally using artwork without permission because the artist weren't even made aware of this.
@_dyluvjkds_ What's wrong with printing an artist's work with their signature on it btw? From what I see from the post that you deleted, they did give you a version without watermark. They just had to keep their signature on.
Why such an attempt to remove their signature from their own work?
@_dyluvjkds_ It is common sense to discuss this before hand.
So your friend:
1. Assumed the artist wouldn't put their signature on their work.
2. Did not say anything about using their work for printing.
3. Complained when the artist did not accommodate.
All of this doesn't make sense.
@_dyluvjkds_ So they weren't aware that their work was going to be used for printing before they started working on the commission.
Why would they have to accommodate your needs when it wasn't discussed and agreed before hand at all?
@_dyluvjkds_ Was the printing thingy disclosed at any point of the conversation during or before the commission in process? Because it seems like the artist didn't know anything about their work was going to be used for printing at all.
