Reopening of Wetherspoons Five Swans in #Newcastle after a four month refurbishment going well - Kitchen broken so no food. And come 7.55pm, no water, so time at the bar (And it looks no different internally)
Great to finally make it all the way up to @BearClawBerwick. Incredible to see such a commitment to barrel aging. Meeting people like Ricky and seeing their passion is the reason I wanted to write about beer in the 1st place. Really need to get back to it...
Heading to the @cricketworldcup at @DurhamCricket? Make sure you take cash to buy your (short measured) pints of @bira91 as most of the bars don't take card and at the 1st of 3 matches the queues are long at the few tills that do. #CWC19
@McCollsBrewery @TheFreeTradeInn@SeahamFoodFest Yes, I think we all underestimated the power of the sun today. Have turned a shade of those lobsters @the_lamp_room were selling. Was a great day - Though the arms will hurt in the morning from carrying a video camera all day. Hope you had plenty of people trying a local brew.
Fashionably late as always we find ourselves in #Manchester a day after @IndyManBeerCon has finished (Boooo!) Can anyone offer any #recommendations of where we should be drinking? Thanks.
After an 8hr drive from the North East to deepest, darkest Wales (well that may just be the weather in Swansea) is there any better sight than a brewery tap with a well stocked bar?
A lovely sunny Sunday down by the Tyne and plenty of people wandering down to visit the newly opened @BTRBrewCo, under the Tyne Bridge. If you are heading down the entrance is by the end of the Swing Bridge. Been down already? Tell us what you think!
Happy St Andrew's Day to all our Scottish friends (And particularly to those who are joining @mjeffbrown at @nclwineschool for tonight's Scottish beer tasting)
