The Rift Anomalies that have been appearing on the Island give us somewhat of a better understanding about RIFTS! 🔵

The Rift Anomaly appears golden at first because of the Dark Voyager's drones tampering with it, seemingly releasing rezz-like chaos cubes towards the rift to influence its state.

However, once the drones begin to get attacked, the rift starts to stabilize itself since the drones are distracted.

The state of the rift goes from golden (chaos?) to red (unstable). After that it goes from red (unstable) to purple. Since the purple color is in-between the states of instability & stability of a rift, it seems that this purple state is METASTABLE. From what I've gathered metastable is the state between stable & unstable. All three of these states of rifts seem to be natural. Golden rifts seem to be natural to a degree as well, they're a bit harder to understand.

Anyways, there seems to be TWO types of purple rifts. The Last Reality's purple corrupted rifts and then the natural metastable rifts. Or it's possible that TLR utilize metastable rifts, we'll have to see.

Then the rift goes from purple (metastable) to blue (stable) and completely heals & closes. However, once it does close, a small golden rift appears with a weapon from the past which seems to be a result of the Dark Voyager's drones tampering with the rift.
