BREAKING: Donald Trump's obsession with New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani escalates as he lashes out first thing in the morning to attack him as a "Communist lunatic" and insists that he himself holds "all the cards."

It's been a long time since a politician scared Republicans this much...

"As President of the United States, I’m not going to let this Communist Lunatic destroy New York," Trump wrote on Truth Social. "Rest assured, I hold all the levers, and have all the cards. I’ll save New York City, and make it 'Hot' and 'Great' again, just like I did with the Good Ol’ USA!"

At this point it should go without saying, but Mamdani is not a "communist." Conservatives have been using that word for decades to describe anyone who prioritizes the interests of average Americans over corporations and billionaires. It's lost all meaning.

Zohran is a Democratic Socialist and his policies are not going to "destroy" New York City. On the contrary, his proposals for free busing, a $30 minimum wage by 2030, a rent freeze, childcare, and free baskets for newborns are exactly what the city needs. Working class people have been neglected for far too long. Zohran aims to change that.

Furthermore, the idea that Trump is capable of making the city "Hot" or "Great" again is laughable given how much damage he's already inflicted on the entire world this term. His tariffs crippled the economy, his fascist ICE crackdowns have destroyed families and his own popularity, and now his "big, beautiful bill" stands poised to gut Medicaid and funnel even more wealth to the super-rich.

Yesterday, Trump threatened to "arrest" Mamdani if he refuses to cooperate with ICE as mayor. MAGA world is terrified of this man because he represents a dire threat to the entrenched oligarchy that their movement exists to serve.

Keep at it Zohran, if you've got these monsters sweating, it means you're on the right track!
